Blogging has never been particularly attrractive for me as I seldom feel a need to let unknown people know what I think, unless it is of real importance and if I do, there are better forums for that.
For example, like letting people read a kind of diary. I mean who cares if I ate a sweetroll today, or if I met someone I know? It is kind of naive to think that someone actually cares about that, but if you met for example George Cloony on the street (by the way the greatest name on earth, obviuosly) or saw the ghost of George Orwell then that would be worth telling people about because it is interesting.
I think blogging for the sake of keeping a diary is... unnecessary. But if you blog as a means to express political views I think it is a valid forum, because blogging is very populare and I guess, if you market your blog, it is very accessible. This of course also goes for technological and cultural purpouses but again, if you are seriuos about that kind of stuff, there'd be better places to go.
That concludes my view on blogs as a whole, I guess.
Glory to George!
